Jana Clemens has been a research associate at the Institute since October 2023 and is doing her doctorate in the field of insurance law under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Reiff. Her research topic deals with the legal implications of the integration of intelligent home technology (smart homes) on insurance contract law. Prior to her current position, she worked at the chair of Prof. Dr. Peter Reiff.
As an institute of the University of Trier, the IRDT is actively involved in the legal shaping of digitalisation.
