Review by Lisa Spengler
In his book “Patterns“, Armin Nassehi looks at digitalisation from a sociological and historical perspective. He focuses on the question of why digitalisation is so successful in today’s society. His core thesis is that digitalisation is not a strange phenomenon that suddenly appeared. Rather, it is the answer to a fundamental social need, namely structure and order in an increasingly complex world.
