How far can online criticism of politicians actually go?

On September 10 and 11, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual conference, “Politicians as Targets—Harmful Online Speech and Its Impact on Democratic Discourse.” We were delighted to welcome speakers and chairs from eight countries, as well as such an engaged audience, here in Trier. Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing a recap of the individual presentations, and we’d like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this conference possible!
